Descripción: Environmental, Health and Safety Site Technician. Based in Madrid.
Major responsibilities in this position: In this position, an Environmental and H&S Technician performs surveillance for the Product Line project scopes for H&S aspects, and field & construction site project functions, including related vendor activities. This is to ensure the Westinghouse requirements are maintained to meet the Westinghouse Program and the Customer requirements.
Activities include: Safety inspections and risk assessments' assistance.Developing and implementing policies and practices to identify/mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace.Investigating accidents and environmental incidents and liaising with engineers, management, and H&S regulatory authorities to identify causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence.Training courses assistance (planning and execution).Providing advice and training on safety protocols and conducting audits to ensure compliance with organization and government standards related to environmental and employee H&S.Drafting of documents for the access of workers at customer's facilities (H&S Plans, staff individual accreditations, training evidences, Personal Protection Equipment delivery).Multiple employer site coordination.RP monitoring and supervision (exposed workers received dose management, access control to the site Radioactive Facility).Performs H&S & RP Site Surveillance for Field Services projects executed at the Nuclear Power Plants:Assistance in the preparation of H&S Plans (hazards assessments and safety measures proposal) and ALARA Plans.H&S Site Surveillance (accident investigations, dose monitoring, hygienic assessments, equipment, auxiliary means and tools safety conditions inspections, special hazardous activities planning and supervision).Requisitos mínimos: Minimum vocational training certification, and bachelor's degree will be a plus.H&S Specialist.Works under limited supervision for routine situations.Works with a moderate level of autonomy requiring supervision related to risk assessments or training process or top-level positions.Fully oriented to internal and external customers.2+ years of experience in EHS related activities in the nuclear industry.Spanish native speaker and proficiency with written and spoken English.Demonstrated experience interfacing with customers, suppliers, regulators, and internal technical groups.Flexibility to travel and work abroad and alternatively working at home office for different periods.Frequent visits to sites, field activities and supplier centers.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate technical requirements and regulatory compliance information.Ability to explain policies and procedures clearly and concisely to internal personnel and external customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and licensees.Active listener with strong interviewing skills.Ability to prioritize and organize work independently.Flexible and comfortable in fast paced work environment.Team player focused on collaboration and understanding common business goals.Detalles: CATEGORÍA: Ingenieros y técnicosSUBCATEGORÍA: IndustrialSECTOR: Petróleo y energíaJORNADA LABORAL: CompletaNIVEL PROFESIONAL: EspecialistaDEPARTAMENTO: Ingeniería
