We are looking for an Environmental Expert who will be responsible for improving and sustaining the facility's environmental management system based on a specific area (waste) and covering all the environmental requirements at site/global level. Also, to oversee and ensure all aspects of environmental compliance of management systems and environmental regulations to company standards.Your ResponsibilitiesCoordinate Grifols Environmental Corporate standards at site level.Leadership and project management on key environmental projects.Maintain, optimize, and implement a regulatory compliance program including monitoring completion of regulatory activities and implementing compliance inspections and audits.Optimize and monitor environmental based projects (energy and water conservation) for management reporting.Conduct and report an annual audit review and periodic third-party audit.Develop, generate, review, and present environmental reports, including the Corporate Annual Environmental Report.Provide leadership for continually improving environmental programs, pollution reductions, and projects for cost reduction opportunities.Generate thorough written reports, when required, that summarize investigations performed for out-of-specification results or out-of-procedure events.Participate in regulatory and internal inspections/audits, including providing written responses as applicable for area of responsibility.Provide guidance and hands-on training to direct reports.Appraise and monitor performance of department personnel.Adhere to departmental corporate safety policies.Support and comply with the compliance requirements of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.Who You AreTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
