Box2Bit a developer and operator of digital infrastructures focused on sustainable digitization of the economy, is in search of a professional for management of the environmental aspects of Box2Bit projects (DataCenters).
Responsibilities: Analysis of limiting environmental factors for evaluating the environmental feasibility of data center, fiber infrastructure, and power line projects from the planning phase.
Research and collection of existing and limiting environmental information based on the location and type of project (project screening).
Knowledge of environmental filters: SCIs, SPAs, flood zones, etc.
Search and analysis of applicable legislation, covering all aspects considered in Environmental Impact Assessments; protection frameworks (Natura 2000 Network, protected natural areas, etc.)
and sector-specific matters (acoustics, landscape, etc.).
Drafting of Initial Documents to commence the Environmental Impact Assessment procedure for projects.
Defining the scope of Environmental Impact Assessments, organizing and coordinating the teams conducting them, and/or hiring companies to carry out these studies for the company.
Supervision and oversight of Environmental Impact Assessments and environmental reports for projects.
Monitoring the administrative processes of projects.
Coordinating environmental management and providing technical support at all stages of the project.
Requirements: Degree in Environmental Sciences, Biology, Agronomy, Forestry, or equivalent, and a Master's in Environment (Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Management, Energy, Natural Environment, etc.).
At least 3 years of experience as an environmental technician in Environmental Impact Assessments, preferably for industrial plant or similar projects.
Experience with regional governments and the Ministry is an asset.
Experience in environmental consultancy is an advantage.
High proficiency in QGIS and ARCGIS.
Strong knowledge of environmental legislation (national and regional).
High level of English is essential.
