Enterprise Security Architect (Hybrid setup)

Join a team of cybersecurity professionals and help Swiss Re to fulfill its mission in making the world more resilient. As the Enterprise Security Architect, you'll own the maintenance of technical security standards which the company adheres to - including the development of new security patterns, incorporating them in the relevant standards, supporting the teams which operate with them and adopting them where needed. You'll be working in a hybrid setup, balancing work from home and the office premises.
About the teamThe Security Team is the focal point for all security activities across Swiss Re. We are responsible for cybersecurity engineering and operations, governance, risk, and compliance. We define and advance the company's security strategy.
As a part of the Security Team, you will work in the Architecture and Advisory team which cooperates directly with our delivery and engineering teams to assess the environment for ongoing improvement opportunities. You will partner up with our Governance and Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure the work of Swiss Re's security architects is aligned with the relevant standards and regulations.
We're seeking a highly motivated team player who is passionate about cyber security. As a candidate, you should have a strong background in security architecture and experience in the tactics and strategy of delivering standards in an agile setup through pragmatic problem-solving and demonstrable technical domain expertise.
In your role, you will...Develop practical and versatile security requirements, architecture blueprints, and processes for the application and solution landscape in our public cloud environment.Review, advise on, and approve security standards for a variety of technology within Swiss Re's IT landscape.Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers inside Swiss Re's Enterprise Architecture teams, driving long-term cloud adoption within their core and functional IT departments.Ensure the business domain architecture is aligned with group security requirements, and feedback business domain-specific requirements into the Security Team.Oversee and ensure security requirements are set and implemented during application development and adhered to during the application life cycle.Advance technical and organisational security competences and adapt to emerging security trends (leading proof of concepts, for instance).Be someone who believes in continuous innovation, is curious and relentless in finding a better way every day.Your qualificationsNobody is perfect and meets 100% of our requirements.
