The PositionSolution Architect As an Enterprise Architect, you will become a member of the Architecture Chapter, which provides the capabilities required to plan and develop Informatics solutions and build roadmaps and strategies to set the direction for the future.
You will partner with relevant stakeholders in business and foundational domains, product lines, product management, and lean portfolio management, providing the expertise needed to bring together the different requirements and dimensions needed to support the development of the current and future direction; translating the overall business strategy(s) into an informatics strategic direction.
Additionally, you will bring an understanding of the external market, driving the research and examination of new technologies to innovate and evaluate the next generation of fit-for-purpose solutions.
As Enterprise Architect you will:ArchitecturePlay a key role in the strategic planning on domain, product line and product level by establishing a technology and information strategy and roadmap that enables a portfolio to support current and future business capabilities connecting the business and IT strategy.Drive the design, engineering, reuse of applications or patterns, including the creation of Enabler Epics for the architectures that comprise the solutions in a portfolio; ensuring a continuous flow of value and improving the time to market.Focus on reusable technology and information to maintain the architectural runway leveraging a composable architecture.Drive the research and examination of new technologies including the feasibility assessment that provide insights on the scalability and cross domain usage.Manage the information security in the domain, product line and products you are supporting to optimize information and data sharing across the enterprise.Document and maintain the current and future desired IT landscape in collaboration with solution architects.Guide and coach implementation teams and solution architects on the technical architecture implementation activities.Business DomainDevelop and maintain the clinical domain architecture strategy and roadmap, aligning it with the overall enterprise architecture framework.Support clinical landscape planning by providing architectural insights and recommendations for efficient project execution.Contribute to the design and implementation of clinical, regulatory, safety, medical affairs landscape, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and adherence to industry standards.Support implementation programs and strategies for the collection, management, and analysis of clinical data.Drive the development and implementation of clinical data analysis and reporting frameworks.Ensure compliance with pharmacovigilance and safety reporting requirements.Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and changes.Provide expertise and guidance in evaluating and selecting clinical development tools, technologies, and vendors.Who you are:ExperienceExtensive experience (7-10 years) in the drug development domain, architecting/implementing solutions in the areas of clinical project planning, study design, data collection and management, data analysis and reporting, pharmacovigilance, regulatory management, and medical affairs.Demonstrated ability to manage architecture on a portfolio level.Ability to build/create proof of concept/pilot applications to showcase platform functionality.Proven experience in designing and implementing domain architecture solutions in a complex and dynamic environment.Strong understanding of the end-to-end clinical development process and related technologies, standards, and regulations.Academic requirementBachelor's/Master's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.A certification or detailed knowledge of the TOGAF architecture framework or comparable architecture methodologies is a plus.A certification or detailed knowledge of the SAFe framework or comparable agile delivery methodologies is a plus.A certification or detailed knowledge in the area of Cloud Computing, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence is a plus.Key competencies/skillsStrong passion to bring value-adding technology to the business.Strong understanding of VACC roles depending on the situation.Ability to apply systems thinking within and across portfolios.Exhibits strong soft skills typically required as an Architect.What you get:Good and stable working environment with attractive compensation and rewards package.Full-time employment contract.Annual bonus payment based on performance.A dedicated training budget.Access to various internal and external training platforms.Experienced and professional colleagues.Multiple Savings Plans with Employer Match.Company's emphasis on employees' wellness and work-life balance.Workplace flexibility policy.State of art working environment and facilities.Who we areAt Roche, more than 100,000 people across 100 countries are pushing back the frontiers of healthcare.
