About the PositionWe are looking for enthusiastic, reliable teachers who enjoy teaching a mixture of ages and levels. The position involves teaching English to children, teenagers, and adults at our two academies in the center of Cáceres. Teachers will form part of a motivated, friendly team and receive full support throughout the year from the Director of Studies.Teachers will plan and prepare classes, carry out term evaluations 3 times a year, and can participate in cultural workshops. Many pupils take Cambridge exams, and teachers help them prepare for these. Classes have a maximum of 10 pupils, and teachers are provided with books and digital material.We also offer monthly meetings and teacher training workshops to help you grow professionally.Salary and BenefitsSocial Security: Full National Health Insurance & social security cover.Contract: Full-time contract (23 hours).Days: 4-day week (Monday to Thursday).Salary: Net monthly salary according to experience - 1,100 euros minimum.Paid Holidays: 2 weeks at Christmas, one week at Easter, and any local/national holidays during the academic year.Training: Further training will be given if necessary. The city is small, friendly, and easily navigable on foot.The city offers amenities such as swimming pools, a cinema, a theatre, shopping centers, horse riding facilities, and a library. The old town is a world heritage site, and Cáceres became the gastronomy capital of Spain in 2015.Accommodation is easy to find in September, and living costs are much cheaper than in other areas of Spain.RequirementsEnglish: English as a first language or a certified C2 level for non-native speakers.Education: University Degree.Qualification: Recognized TEFL qualification.Experience: Experience, especially with either young children and/or preparing students for Cambridge exams, will be highly valued.Additional: Must have a passport for an EU country or EU work permission.
