English Teacher Assistant

Escola Proa is a school located in Sants, Barcelona. Our school has students from 3 to 18 years old and we require native English speakers who are willing to carry out our Speaking Project.We are currently looking for experienced, dynamic English-speaking assistants to work 19-25 hours/week from 8.00h until 17.00h. The position requires the following working tasks:Improve the speaking skills of students and their motivation towards learning the English culture.Offer a good phonetic and grammatical model to students.Create specific tasks to engage students in speaking.Work together with the English teachers to plan activities according to the different projects done in class and give linguistic support.Applicants interested in joining our team of highly motivated teacher assistants should send their CV and cover letter and must meet the following requirements:Have a minimum of one year of experience.Have teaching skills or a TEFL certificate.TÍTOL DE BATXILLERAT (High School Diploma)English proficiency: C2 (spoken and written)Competencies: communication skills, patience, responsibility.Contract Type: Indefinite labor contractWork Schedule: Part-time (19 hours/week)Salary: Monthly gross salary from 800 to 850 euros.
