Role Description
This is a part-time role for an English Teacher on-site in CORUÑA at English Gym. The English Teacher will be responsible for offering primarily classes for children (with the possibility of adult class assignments). They will need to work with students with a range of ages and levels, and foster a positive and engaging learning environment. The right candidate will have a passion for teaching English and experience with online teaching tools.
Qualifications
Mother tongue, Bilingual or Proficiency (C2) level of English.
C1 level also accepted. A verbal level test will be required.
Minimum 2 year experience teaching English a plus.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as English, Education, Linguistics, etc a plus.
Certification in TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or other relevant teaching certification a plus.
Experience with and access to remote teaching tools, such as Zoom.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with students of all levels and ages.
Ability to follow and adapt engaging lesson plans and feedback through positive reinforcement.
A passion for teaching and staying up-to-date with teaching trends and methodologies.
Energy and experience for teaching children ages 3+
Availability Midday and afternoons primarily.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From 12.00€ per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
