Say farewell to the ordinary, and hello to the extraordinary! Job Description What you'll do We are looking for an Engineering Supervisor to join the pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. Under the guidance of the Engineering Manager, you'll be responsible for maintaining the equipment and all aspects related to preventive and corrective maintenance of all areas of the hotel (pool, common areas, kitchens, rooms, etc.): Supervise and provide constructive feedback to all team members to ensure safe work practices, efficient operation, proper preventive maintenance and equipment repair practices. Assist in the preparation of consumption reports on power, water, steam, and gas. Ensure that maintenance & repairs performed by contractors are executed in accordance with agreed health and safety policy, contracts, fees or charges. Perform maintenance as necessary. Train and supervise the maintenance team. Attend all types of repair and maintenance work on hotel facilities. Participate in the hotel's energy conservation program. Respond to all requests for work, repairs and maintenance work. Look for any products related to the building structure to ensure adequate stock levels. Perform maintenance and repairs of various types of equipment, such as laundry, kitchen, heating, ventilation, air conditioning equipment, including pumps, motors, fans, water treatment plant, sewage plant, electricity generators, lights, CCTV, telephone, TV, fire and life safety equipment and systems, among others. Assist the Engineering Manager in preparing monthly maintenance status reports. Prepare a spare parts list for engineering requirements. Assist the Engineering Manager in structuring the team's workload to ensure projects are completed on time. Monitor teamwork and ensure deadlines are met and work is completed to an established standard and perform scheduled preventive maintenance. Qualifications What we are looking for... Qualification in a variety of engineering/maintenance. +5 years of experience in maintenance (masonry, plumbing and/or electrical repairs, etc.). Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
