Hello! We are Volotea, the airline of the small and mid-sized cities in Europe.

Our main markets are France, Italy, Spain, and Greece. We have 21 operational bases: Nantes, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Marseille, Strasbourg, Lille, Lourdes, Lyon, and Brest in France; Venice, Verona, Palermo, Cagliari, Olbia, Florence, Bari, and Naples in Italy; Asturias and Bilbao in Spain; Athens in Greece; and Hamburg in Germany.

What you will do:
Cost Analysis Mastery: Dive deep into the intricate details of our operational costs, analyzing everything from fuel expenditures to maintenance expenses. Utilize your quantitative skills to dissect data, identify trends, and uncover opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
Financial Performance Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that enhance our financial performance. From budget planning to cost forecasting, you'll be at the forefront of driving profitability while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Innovative Solutions: Embrace creativity and innovation as you seek out new ways to streamline processes and minimize expenses. Whether it's implementing advanced analytics tools or negotiating vendor contracts, your insights will propel us toward excellence.
Project Management Excellence: Lead cost-related projects with precision and finesse, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are exceeded. Your ability to multitask and prioritize will be instrumental in keeping our operations running smoothly.

What you will need:
Background: You have recently finished or about to finish your Engineering Degree and want to start working inmediately.
Quantitative Skills: A mastery of numbers is essential for success in this role. Whether it's crunching data or performing complex calculations, you should thrive in a quantitative environment. While not a must, it is preferred that you come from a quantitative background, with a degree in engineering, mathematics, physics and similar fields.
Financial Knowledge (Preferred): While not mandatory, a solid understanding of financial principles will give you a competitive edge. Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis will serve you well in this role.
Ambition and Drive: We're looking for high-performing individuals who are hungry for success. Your relentless drive to excel and exceed expectations will be the driving force behind our team's success.
Excellent Communication Skills: From presenting your findings to collaborating with team members, effective communication is key. Whether it's a complex analysis or a simple update, you should be able to convey information clearly and concisely.
