Description Your responsibilities Support the development of Engineering organizational maturity: audit the Operating Unit & OPC Engineering way of working / process implementation, identify and clarify need for changeAnalyze operational non-conformities and quality cases recorded, as well as results from setup and quality assessments. Support the local Engineering Managers on the specification of improvement projects/initiatives up to the implementation and verificationEstablish an Engineering KPI measuring system based on available data, calculate achieved KPIs monthly and create analysis incl. actions suggestions for the organizationOwn the Engineering tool landscape. Analyze tool portfolio for performance improvement and drive tool harmonization where requireAnalyze the Engineering competency status in detail, identify trends and criticalities (e.g. Power Quality applications, Cyber Security). Establish an Engineering specific training cataloguePlan & follow-up people development assessmentsEstablish operational, case-based and general knowledge sharing by senior Engineers (Engineering competency network) and discipline knowledge transfer agreements, where small teams cannot sustain a high discipline competency levelYour backgroundYou hold a university degree in Engineering, Quality Management or a related fieldYou bring +5 years of experience in a similar position or in line management in EngineeringYou are experienced in functional/disciplinary management in multicultural and multinational organizationsStrong indirect leadership skills paired with exceptional communication skills to convince and influence stakeholders in the interest of your missionYou are analytical, well organized and structured in delivering resultsYou have basic knowledge in electrical power engineeringYou are well versed and interested in training and development of internal stakeholders You are fluent in EnglishWillingness to travel once per month in European countriesThis position can be fulfilled completely remotely within Europe.
