DescriptionYour responsibilities* Support the development of Engineering organizational maturity: audit the Operating Unit & OPC Engineering way of working / process implementation, identify and clarify need for change* Analyze operational non-conformities and quality cases recorded, as well as results from setup and quality assessments. Support the local Engineering Managers on the specification of improvement projects/initiatives up to the implementation and verification* Establish an Engineering KPI measuring system based on available data, calculate achieved KPIs monthly and create analysis incl. actions suggestions for the organization* Own the Engineering tool landscape. Analyze tool portfolio for performance improvement and drive tool harmonization where require* Analyze the Engineering competency status in detail, identify trends and criticalities (e.G. Power Quality applications, Cyber Security). Establish an Engineering specific training catalogue* Plan & follow-up people development assessments* Establish operational, case-based and general knowledge sharing by senior Engineers (Engineering competency network) and discipline knowledge transfer agreements, where small teams cannot sustain a high discipline competency levelYour background* You hold a university degree in Engineering, Quality Management or a related field* You bring +5 years of experience in a similar position or in line management in Engineering* You are experienced in functional/disciplinary management in multicultural and multinational organizations* Strong indirect leadership skills paired with exceptional communication skills to convince and influence stakeholders in the interest of your mission* You are analytical, well organized and structured in delivering results* You have basic knowledge in electrical power engineering* You are well versed and interested in training and development of internal stakeholders* You are fluent in English* Willingness to travel once per month in European countriesThis position can be fulfilled completely remotely within Europe.
