Engineering Quality & Competency Manager (F/M/D)

Description Your responsibilities Support the development of Engineering organizational maturity : audit the Operating Unit & OPC Engineering way of working / process implementation, identify and clarify need for change Analyze operational non-conformities and quality cases recorded, as well as results from setup and quality assessments.
Support the local Engineering Managers on the specification of improvement projects/initiatives up to the implementation and verification Establish an Engineering KPI measuring system based on available data, calculate achieved KPIs monthly and create analysis incl.
actions suggestions for the organization Own the Engineering tool landscape .
Analyze tool portfolio for performance improvement and drive tool harmonization where require Analyze the Engineering competency status in detail, identify trends and criticalities (e.g.
Power Quality applications, Cyber Security).
Establish an Engineering specific training catalogue Plan & follow-up people development assessments Establish operational, case-based and general knowledge sharing by senior Engineers ( Engineering competency network ) and discipline knowledge transfer agreements, where small teams cannot sustain a high discipline competency level Your background You hold a university degree in Engineering, Quality Management or a related field You bring +5 years of experience in a similar position or in line management in Engineering You are experienced in functional/disciplinary management in multicultural and multinational organizations Strong indirect leadership skills paired with exceptional communication skills to convince and influence stakeholders in the interest of your mission You are analytical, well organized and structured in delivering results You have basic knowledge in electrical power engineering You are well versed and interested in training and development of internal stakeholders You are fluent in English Willingness to travel once per month in European countries This position can be fulfilled completely remotely within Europe.
