International consulting group founded in 2019, Ekkiden fosters an ecosystem of passionate and committed consultants who lead organizational, operational, and technological transformation projects in IT/Digital, Industry/R&D, and Sustainability, for large enterprises and SMEs in France, Switzerland, Spain, and Germany.Responsibilities:Product design & validation Works according to HSE requirementsIs involved in upstream phases of the project (expertise phase, acquisition phase)Analyses Customer Needs and Draw-up OPm SpecificationsDefines the concepts of the product design to meet customers specifications and GD&T and ensure that the Plastic Omnium standard conception rules are respectedEnsures that the design for manufacturing (assembly, paint, plant & packaging) are fulfilledIs the main technical contact with the customer during the design & tuning phasesIs responsible for providing functional specifications for baby partsManages and perform risk analysis (DFMEA + Design reviews)Manages Specifications of the means (injection tools, checking fixtures, test jigs, End Of Arm Tooling)Manages Product validation (functional, geometry and cosmetic quality)Anticipates Product tuning (mold tuning, checking fixture tuning)Project Management: Defines initial Statement of Work of product engineering perimeter including extended team, regarding project perimeter, development budget (hours, hourly rate, travel cost) and Optimap Work PackagesDefines and set up the engineering project planningManages the engineering project reviews, consolidates actions and provides reporting and action plansParticipates to QUAD (product & process feasibility milestones) reviewsTracks perimeter changes and reports to the PMProposes adjustments and modifications linked to perimeter evolution during project life timeBudget management: Ensures product PRU commitment for the design relevant criteriaDetermines the project provisional budget (hours and cost)Allocates the budget to his extended team & guarantees resource availability with the managerDetermines internal and external perimeter regarding SOWTracks perimeter changes due to customer or internal ones and reports to the PM.
Proposes adjustments and modifications linked to perimeter evolution during project life timeInsures the follow up of project budget and releases warnings to PM and métiers managers in case of gapsContributes to investment optimization through part designContinuous Improvements: Participates to capitalization and to productivity actionsAt the end of the project, participates to the closure of project and gives feedback regarding best practices and difficultiesWhat we are looking for:Knowledge / Qualification - Bachelor's with experience or Master's degree.
