Role: Engineering Planner
Location: Tres Cantos, Madrid
Our Opportunity:
As an Engineering Planner, you will be in charge of the elaboration, management, and follow-up of engineering multi-project plans in synchronization with the procurement and production plan and in coherence with the processes of the domain.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Consolidate a Master Planning Schedule by managing the top-level schedule of a project portfolio.
Responsible for Key Performance Indicator (KPI) generation and the management of the priorities and resolution of planning exceptions.
Check the feasibility of the plans against engineering capacity and take required actions.
Stay informed with the progress of procurement and production activities and be the key decision maker for problem solving related to production dates and quantities.
Contribute in the early stages of production preparation to define the most adequate planning, procurement, and production parameters of all active items to deliver the products on-time in the right quantity and expected level of quality while minimizing global costs.
Be involved in the application of engineering changes.
Accountable for the accuracy and optimization of all planning parameters and data within the ERP system.
Contribute to the resolution of litigations within projects and improvement of cost and performance of the engineering activities in coherence with the Customer requirements.
Contribute to the collaboration with other teams such as Project Management and Industry.
What are we looking for:
Engineer with technical background enabling a high degree of autonomy in a complex environment (missions, products).
Explain facts, practices, and deploy policies, etc. to others within the organization in the engineering Planning area.
Identify problems and significantly improve, change or adapt existing methods and techniques based on management recommendations and guarantee the updating and loading of data within the IS tools.
