About this role : We are looking for an experienced and passionate Engineering Manager for the MarTech Team with a proficient NodeJS knowledge to lead and empower a team of talented engineers.
Responsibilities: Provide architectural and technical leadership to a cross functional team of engineers Lead and mentor the team, providing technical guidance and career development support Work with a product owner to help the team break down requirements into manageable tasks Collaborate with CRM and Marketing stakeholders to ensure that any provided tools or functionalities meet their business requirements Conduct code and architectural reviews to ensure high standards of code quality and maintainability Ensure that application performance and scalability are consistently upheld with each release to handle data for millions of users effectively Ensure proper documentation of all processes, codebases, and systems Encourage continuous learning, knowledge sharing and professional growth within the team Strengthen the team's composition by hiring new members as needed Your Profile: You have prior experience managing a small, agile team of senior engineers You have at least 5 years of experience with NodeJs or other server-side technologies (Python, Java, etc) You have a deep understanding of advanced architectures and patterns for managing large volumes of real-time events, including microservice and event-driven design While your primary expertise lies in backend development, you're also comfortable leading a team that at times handles frontend tasks Knowledge of non-relational and relational data storages A self-motivated individual with a passion for learning new technologies Experience with Agile, DevOps and web security best practices Experience with cloud computing platforms, ideally AWS Experience with containerization and Docker Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline implementation and management Experience with recruitment and conducting interviews Strong oral and written communication skills in English Our Benefits: A culture that cherishes your individual and professional development An open-minded team that embraces new ideas, perspectives, and methodologies 32 days of paid vacation + your birthday off Flexible hybrid working scheme Learning budget + Internal trainings Mental Health Coaching Global and Local get-togethers Possibility of taking a sabbatical after 2 years in the company Cloud-based company Are you up for it?
