Datadog is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and grow our CI Visibility team, which represents part of the "shift-left" expansion of the Datadog Platform. The CI Visibility is a product that provides customers with unique insights during their software development lifecycle by instrumenting CI providers. CI Visibility is part of the Software Delivery suite which aims at helping software engineering teams do more, faster, in a secured way. We're looking for a hands-on technical leader to cultivate this team of talented engineers, while also helping to shape the ambitious product roadmap to ensure Datadog's full product-suite becomes more and more developer-friendly.

You will drive innovative and ambitious initiatives to further expand the CI Visibility product by targeting new personas and building more integrations. What You'll Do: Lead and develop a talented team of backend and frontend engineers, who are responsible for building the product end-to-end, from data collection to data visualization, directly managing 5 engineers.
Participate in hands-on work: Code reviews, design reviews, and coding.
Create a strong team culture aligned with our engineering standards and our customer focus.
Work closely with product management and design teams to create intuitive, powerful, and beautiful user workflows that best leverage the vast amount of information being collected.
Ensure the development and continuous improvement of a scalable and reliable architecture that can keep up with the growth of the product in a sustainable manner.
Help grow the team and shape the engineering culture of the Madrid hub.

Who You Are: You have worked on large scale distributed systems and/or real-time data processing pipelines and know them from top to bottom.
You have previous experience leading software engineering teams, as a tech lead or people manager.
You are an excellent leader with strong interpersonal skills, and you have the ability to build and lead high-performing teams, mentoring junior and senior engineers to help them grow their careers.
You have a track record of delivering high-quality software products on schedule and collaborating closely with product management and design teams to set the vision and strategy for your projects.
You have hands-on experience with Java or Go, and a willingness to spend some time with hands on keyboard, and participate in an on-call rotation.
