Your Role: We are seeking a culture-first Engineering Manager to join our team and support our software development efforts. As an Engineering Manager at Futurae, you will be responsible for managing teams of skilled software engineers and driving the successful delivery of our products. You will collaborate closely with other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of technical strategies and business objectives.
Responsibilities: Lead and manage teams of software engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support for their professional development Define and drive the software development life cycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to prioritize and plan software development projects Implement best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies to optimize team productivity and deliverables Identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring the stability and scalability of our software solutions Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement Collaborate with fellow leaders to align strategies, share knowledge, and foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and servant leadership Requirements: Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, leading and managing software development teams Strong technical background in software development, with previous hands-on experience in coding and architectural design Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams & product manager counterparts Experience with modern Agile development methodologies and project management tools Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects sequentially & simultaneously Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Experience working in fast-paced StartUp / ScaleUp environments will be preferred over large corporations Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and technologies is a plus Why Futurae Join a young, international, and fast-paced Cybersecurity company with experienced industry leaders
