This is a permanent, full-time position reporting to the Vice President of Engineering.
Job responsibilities Oversee the development and maintenance of full stack software solutions that enhance customer safety and security. Lead the architecture and design of new features and functionalities while ensuring the integration of best practices in coding and security. Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables within the full stack development team. Conduct code reviews and contribute to coding tasks to ensure high-quality outputs. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation and efficiency improvements. Ensure team adherence to software quality standards and timelines. Collaborate with other department leaders to align technological solutions with business goals. Support professional development of team members through mentoring, coaching, and facilitating continuous learning and development opportunities. What are we looking for? The ideal candidate must have:
7 years of experience in software development. 2 years in a leadership or managerial role managing full stack development teams. Expertise in modern software development practices and tools, including Agile methodologies. Frontend development experience: React.js. Backend Development proficiency: C#, .NET Core, and REST API creation. Database knowledge: SQL and noSQL databases; adept with EntityFramework. Devops and Cloud experience: Azure Kubernetes, microservices, Azure cloud infrastructure, and implementing DevOps best practices. Fluency in English. Valid work permit in the EU. Additionally, the following is nice to have (but not essential):
