Your missionAs an Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of our products by leading, mentoring, and managing high-performing engineering teams. You will collaborate with other Engineering teams and work together with Product Management, being responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, technical leadership, and people management. Your role will ensure that the team not only meets its goals but also thrives in a supportive and growth-oriented environment. You will embody and promote our core values and vision, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration within the team.What you'll do Build and maintain high-performing teams by fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Conduct regular performance evaluations. Help and support team members to define their goals for their career development. Keep the team engaged and motivated, resolving issues constructively. Serve as a role model for mentorship, proactively seeking out and mentoring team members. Assist the architecture team with system design and architecture, influencing technology stack choices. Drive software delivery to the highest quality standards by effectively managing project timelines, resources, and priorities. Define roles and responsibilities within the team, ensuring clarity in project requirements and timelines. Understand systems at a holistic level and support technical decisions with stakeholders. Collaborate with the product team to convert requirements into actionable tasks for the engineering team. Own the status of projects, identifying potential roadblocks and resource needs. Collaborate with other departments to align engineering efforts with overall company goals. Identify necessary skills and experiences within the team, working with the Talent team to recruit top talent. Promote best practices in the software development lifecycle to produce high-quality, maintainable software. Regularly contribute to company-wide initiatives, events, and activities. Understanding of system design and architecture with hands-on technical experience. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex projects.
