About the role
Are you an experienced Senior Software Engineer ready to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a talented individual to transition into a management role, leading our dynamic engineering team.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our technical direction while growing your leadership skills.
Your tasks will include:
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of talented software engineers.
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on goals and objectives.
Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices and processes.
In order to be successful in this role, you will have:
Strong technical expertise.
Problem-solving skills.
Team leadership attitude.
Emotional intelligence.
About you:
At least 5 years of experience as Senior Software Engineer or 2 years of experience as Tech Lead.
A passion for mentoring and developing talent.
Technical education in engineering or similar.
Strong communication skills.
Experience in people management, career development, and performance evaluation.
People-focused management.
Experience in assessment tools and metrics.
Nice to have: startups experience or company or very fast growth.
Experience applying best practices in technical teams (Agile methodologies, peer reviews, testing, sprints execution).
Resourceful, able to make informed and well-judged decisions with limitations of knowledge in particular areas.
