DescripciónAs the Engineering Director for Sage Copilot Implementation within the Accounting Business Unit, you will lead the strategic integration of Sage Copilot across our product lines.
You will oversee the architectural design, manage a multidisciplinary team focused on skill development, and guide the creation of a unified user interface and data analysis framework.
Your role is crucial in ensuring alignment with AI/ML standards and external guidelines while fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence to drive business growth.Responsabilidades principalesKey Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership:You will lead the comprehensive implementation of Sage Copilot across the Accounting Business Unit, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and product strategy.You will develop and communicate a strategic roadmap for the implementation, ensuring timely and successful execution.Architectural & Technical Oversight:You will direct the architectural design for Sage Copilot integration, ensuring the solution is scalable, secure, and efficient.You will oversee technical teams to establish and maintain architecture standards across all products.You will ensure seamless integration of Sage Copilot with existing systems, enhancing product functionality and user experience.Team Development & Leadership:You will lead and mentor a cross-functional team, fostering skills development in AI/ML technologies relevant to Sage Copilot.You will cultivate a high-performance culture that encourages innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.You will provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring effective project execution and career development.UI & Data Analysis Management:You will oversee the development of a cohesive user interface that delivers a consistent and intuitive experience across all products.You will ensure that data analysis processes align with AI/ML best practices, delivering accurate and actionable insights.You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to create UI solutions that meet customer needs and drive product success.AI/ML Compliance & Alignment:You will ensure all AI/ML components within Sage Copilot are compliant with external framework guidelines and industry standards.You will stay informed on AI/ML trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, integrating this knowledge into the development process.You will maintain strict compliance with data protection regulations and ethical AI practices.Continuous Improvement:You will establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the Sage Copilot implementation and identify opportunities for improvement.You will drive initiatives for continuous enhancement of the Sage Copilot solution, focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability.You will collect and analyze feedback from users and stakeholders to inform ongoing improvements and refinements.Stakeholder Engagement:You will collaborate with senior leadership, product management, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.You will regularly communicate project status, challenges, and achievements to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Skills, Know-How, and Experience:Must Have:Extensive experience in leading product engineering teams, particularly in architecture, Copilot, AI and ML.Prompt engineering knowledge.Strong knowledge of the accounting and business software markets.Proven track record in delivering high-quality customer technology solutions.Expertise in software development best practices and patterns (e.G., Microservices, Event Sourcing, Domain-Driven Design).Experience with API-first product delivery and third-party integration.Strong business acumen and senior leadership experience.Desirable:Familiarity with cloud, social, mobility, IoT, and big data technologies.Experience in leading large-scale, multi-million-pound projects.Proficiency in Application Lifecycle Management and Agile delivery methods.Technical / Professional Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Proficiency in English.#LI-KB1FunctionFunctionProduct DeliveryCountryCountrySpainOffice LocationOffice LocationBarcelonaWork Place typeWork Place typeHybridAdvertAdvertWorking at Sage means you're supporting millions of small and medium sized businesses globally with technology to work faster and smarter.
