Engineering Analyst

We are looking for an Engineering Analyst on behalf of and in support to our client for their location in Barcelona, Spain. The selected candidate should show integrity and professionalism.
Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage). The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to:
Performance and review of engineering analysis (mechanical, thermo-mechanical and structural dynamics);Pre-processing activities for mechanical analysis;Post-processing of engineering analysis results according to codes and standards.Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in engineering;Master's Degree/PhD in engineering would be considered advantageous;At least 4 years of relevant experience;Experience performing pre-processing activities for the preparation of engineering analyses (geometrical defeaturing, meshing);Experience in the performance and review of mechanical analyses performed with ANSYS Mechanical APDL/Abaqus;Knowledge of structural dynamics;Experience in the post-processing of analysis results using codes and standards such as ASME, SDC-IC, RCC-MR, etc.;Experience in the performance of non-linear calculations (involving geometrical or material nonlinearities);Experience in the performance of thermo-mechanical calculations;Experience working in a multicultural environment;Good level of English.Please submit your application in English via the apply button below.
