Engineer (Water Technical Office)

ResponsibilitiesDesign water treatment systems and processes, including appropriate equipment and technologies.Conduct feasibility studies and technical analysis for new projects.Develop plans and technical specifications for the construction and upgrading of water treatment plants.Implement process improvements to increase efficiency.Solve operational and technical issues of the plant operation.Plan and coordinate water treatment plant improvement and expansion projects.Oversee the construction and installation of new equipment and systems.Ensure that plant operations are in compliance with all regulations and standards.Keep up to date on changes in laws and regulations related to water treatment.Draft and submit regulatory reports to the relevant authorities.Support procurement in evaluating and selecting suppliers and contractors for specific projects and services.Support procurement with technical approval of supplier bids.RequirementsDegree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar.Experience in water treatment plants.Minimum of 3 years of experience in the design, operation and maintenance of water treatment plants.English. French is a plus.Availability to travel.Knowledge of design and simulation software (AutoCAD, MATLAB, etc).
