The VacancyDue to exponential growth and a consistent workload, we are currently looking for an Intermediate/Senior Engineer to join our Operational Engineering team in Madrid. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of this unique role and act as a key player to support the continued growth of this successful service. You will be based in our dynamic Madrid office and will cover a workload in the Spanish market and beyond. We undertake a lot of surveys and refurbishment projects within the commercial office, retail, logistics, hotel, and residential sectors, so you will get an exciting and varied workload from the get-go.
ResponsibilitiesProducing pre-acquisition and disposal technical due diligence reportsCarrying out planned preventative maintenance reports, NZC reports, energy audits, life cycle costing, and plant replacement projects in different building typesManagement of minor projects and acting as project leadOpportunity for line management of junior engineers or graduatesInput into innovation; continual improvement of services and productsSupporting the wider teams providing technical support and maintenance management dutiesMeet target KPIs on WIP managementBusiness Development responsibilities including client care and identifying new opportunities for growthHold a clean driving license and able to travel for site visitsYour Profile ExperienceRelevant degree in Building Services Engineering, Industrial Engineering, etc. or equivalentProficient in English and Spanish, both written and verbalExcellent report writing and communication skills are required and the ability to liaise professionally with clients and colleagues is essentialClient facing with excellent written and verbal communication skills4 + years' experience within a consultancy or from an M&E project engineering backgroundFlexible and willing to cover a variety of work and travel to site as neededKnowledgeable in statutory compliance, regulations, and standards relating to operational/existing building services in SpainWorking knowledge of and ability to identify and provide professional advice for all MEP building servicesMethodical way of thinking and approach to workWorking knowledge of and ability to produce thermal models and carry out energy audits reportsWhy join us?We are hardworking, progressive, successful, and fun.
