Engineer Power Curve ValidationAs an Engineer Power Curve Validation, you will be an integral part of our Global Engineering division's experienced international team of system and validation experts. Your primary responsibility will be to support our field validation activities, focusing on wind turbine power performance.YOUR TASKS:Assist in the verification of power curves for wind turbines in accordance with the IEC 61400-12 series.Organize wind measurement campaigns, including site assessment, coordination of permitting process, supervision of met mast installation, operation, and dismantling, and support with LiDAR deployment and operation.Process, analyze, and evaluate power curve measurement data as part of wind turbine prototype testing and verification in customer projects.Identify performance deviations, determine causes, develop optimization potential, and define corrective measures.Maintain and further develop the toolset used for data analysis, especially in Python.Collaborate with international partners and independent measurement institutions.YOUR PROFILE:Degree in an engineering discipline or comparable qualification. Several years of relevant professional experience desirable. Knowledge of aerodynamics and wind turbine control. Experience in processing and interpreting large amounts of data. Programming capability, particularly in Python language. Expertise in data acquisition systems and power/wind measurement technology desirable. Excellent English communication skills, both in speaking and writing; fluency in German or Spanish is a plus. Self-driven and reliable, with strong organizational and analytical skills, and a diligent, structured way of working. Enjoy communicating and working in a multicultural team.
