We are looking for an Energy Storage Engineer to join the team in Madrid, Zaragoza, or Barcelona, Spain. You will join us at a time when energy storage is becoming increasingly important in meeting the challenges facing economies worldwide. The role is hybrid - three days in the office and two days working from home. Most of your work will be desk-based, but limited (international) travel for site and customer visits might be required.
Your work in the role Using your expertise in MS Excel, you will apply, maintain, and develop our proprietary advisory tools (MS Excel and Python-based) for hybrid project energy modeling (photovoltaic/wind/battery energy storage systems/green H2/thermal generator). A dynamic and enthusiastic team player, you will support a diverse range of customers on chargeable energy storage and other renewable energy technology-related projects. You will also develop proposals for and implement (internal) innovation projects that contribute to the ongoing digitalization of our advisory services. In addition, you will support business development by seeking and analyzing new business opportunities and additional work for existing customers.
