Energy Sourcing & Regulatory Affairs Manager - SpainAbout the Role This position supports the strategy for energy procurement in Spain by sourcing energy for high-consumption sites within the framework of the global energy risk policy. You will manage regulatory issues related to energy consumption in Spain, ensuring compliance and competitiveness.

What You Will Do Collaborate with global energy teams to represent Spain.Support the selection of supply sources, approve purchase orders, and manage invoices, cost projections, and budgets.Plan and oversee purchasing activities.Provide specific insights for hedging decisions and represent the company in regulatory forums.Align Essity's position with association stances on energy issues and contribute to the Public Affairs Team on energy matters.Participate in the energy regulatory affairs network, stay updated on Spanish regulations, and adapt strategies accordingly.Understand market forces, cost trends, and regulatory requirements.Who You Are University degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or another related field.5+ years' work experience in the paper industry or energy sector.3+ years' experience in functional leadership.Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.Excellent communication and project management skills.Fluent in English and Spanish.What We Can Offer You Our purpose, Breaking Barriers to Well-being, provides meaning to everything we do.
