As a Consultant in DNV's Markets & Transactions section based in Madrid, Spain, you'll play a pivotal role in our strategic expansion plan for power analytics services in Southern Europe and Latin America. Join a dynamic team with a clear mandate to grow in terms of market coverage and services, contributing to the transformative energy landscape.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Electricity Market Modelling**:
- Dive into market trends, including expansion plans and commodities.
- Conduct scenario analysis, exploring the impact of climate, electrical vehicles, distribution, and self-consumption.
- Shape medium
- and long-term forecasts and ensure seamless web service feeding.
- **Tools and Models Refinement**:
- Fine-tune internal processes and tools to meet client expectations and project scopes.
- **Market Intelligence**:
- Leverage big data, data mining, and energy markets analysis to provide commercial advisory services.
- **Collaboration**:
- Engage with LATAM and European teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Interact closely with consulting teams to ensure the flawless delivery of projects.
- **Comprehensive Market Analysis**:
- Conduct quantitative and regulatory market analysis.
- Develop market price forecasts, including Wholesale, Capacity, Stabilized price, and Ancillary Services.
- Perform revenue analysis, assessing associated risks.
- Undertake any other tailormade analysis as required.
- **Client Interaction**:
- Engage with clients before, during, and after consulting projects to build lasting relationships.

**Qualifications**:
- A Consultant with a keen interest in Energy and up to 4 years of experience.
- Software proficiency in programming languages (Python, VBA) and SQL is a plus.
