We are looking for a person to join the Design and Technical Services Corporate Team and support in relation to HLP (Energy & Water) and Engineering. This role encompasses CAPEX and OPEX by managing daily responsibilities on Energy, in direct contact with consultants and utilities in the main markets (Europe). You will prepare information for decision makers regarding awarding and hedging strategies, jointly with recommendations from consultants, and provide support to the Engineering & Maintenance Director regarding energy savings in hotels, including follow-up on Action Plans. Additionally, as part of the sustainability strategy, analyzing different solutions for energy savings will be another important commitment.This is a great opportunity to develop multidisciplinary skills and experience in hospitality projects, collaborating with various stakeholders.Functions of the Role:Manage daily responsibilities on Energy, maintaining direct contact with consultants and utilities in the main markets (Europe).Follow up on energy trends in Europe to react to changes in the markets.Prepare information for decision makers about awarding and hedging strategies, jointly with recommendations by consultants.Support hotels with administrative processes related to the signing of contracts with utilities.Provide support to the Engineering & Maintenance Director regarding energy savings in hotels, including follow-up on Action Plans with properties, focusing on leased/managed hotels, evaluation of projects, implementation, and consumption follow-up.Assist the Engineering Department with the implementation of the Responsible Business Strategy in buildings to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.Support the Engineering & Maintenance Director and Area Engineering Directors related to maintenance and energy efficiency Capex Process (Planning, implementation, reporting).Maintain reporting and filing formats, including weekly energy reports, updating the database for Energy status (contracts, expiry dates, hedging), and regular reporting to the VP.Stay updated on Energy Saving Technologies, evaluating options and feasibilities.Coordinate information coming from hotels.Minimum Requirements:3 years of experience in Energy Management.Experience in building installations.Cost controlling skills.Ability to work independently and remotely for short periods.Fluent knowledge of English (C2), verbally and in writing; written English should be at reporting level.Other languages such as German or French are a plus.Knowledge of reporting processes and following up processes.Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Products.
