As part of the technical solutions development team, your challenge will be to identify energy optimization opportunities and develop the most appropriate solutions to reduce energy costs and carbon footprint based on the financial, technical and environmental criteria of the customer.
Overall responsibilities include: Value based solution development; help process oriented sales approach by creating value to customer with agreed energy performance and delivery requirement.Energy solutions of facilities infrastructure with focus on energy performance and decarbonization.Development of comprehensive proposal that includes technical solutions, BOQ, costing, overall cost savings and payback/ROI calculations.Assist sales representatives in conducting presentation and contract negotiation for mid to large energy performance-based contracting. Day-to-day responsibilities & expectations: Technical qualification of leads and identification of potential opportunities according to the EPS strategy.Carries out desktop analysis of key facility infrastructure and energy data to identify potential opportunities.Performs value discovery assessments including site walk-through, data gathering and analysis, energy and operational savings calculation and rough cost estimation, leading to a preliminary proposal to the customer.Performs investment grade audits including on site activities such as measurement campaign and site inspection, baseline energy and conditions determination, savings calculations, solution design, specs and BOQ elaboration, subcontractor offers gathering, elaboration of M&V plan, technical reports, and contract exhibits.Hands over the project to the PM team and supports them during the implementation phase so that the performance guarantee is ensured.Supports the service team throughout the life of the performance contracts including supervision of M&V reports.Active monitors the market for new trends and solutions to enhance the offerings portfolio.The position requires traveling. Qualifications and Experience: BSc. or higher in industrial/mechanical/energy engineering.Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of energy performance projects design and implementation.Experience in Energy Performance Contracts, ideally with proven track record in energy services companies.Strong knowledge of industrial technical facilities including the generation, distribution and use of steam, compressed air, cooling/refrigeration, hot water and HVAC systems.Knowledge in on-site generation technologies such as PV, BESS, thermal solar, biomass systems, geothermal heat pumps among others.Experience in developing IPMVP-compliant M&V plans. CMVP and CEM certifications are a plus.Knowledge of Building Energy & Monitoring Systems.Strong computer and analytical skills required.Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.Has the hands-on experience to perform all site measurements and the knowledge of using energy audit measurement equipment.Can handle multiple responsibilities and can work independently.Good communication skills.Full working proficiency (verbal and written) in English.Travel across the country up to 25%.Position for remote work.
Availability to travel nationally is required.
