Job Description PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Managing and developing M&E business from a designated account portfolio within Spain with focus on driving and developing M&E business across our global division with emphasis on driving business across ENA.
MAIN COMPLEXITY / CRITICAL ISSUES IN THE JOB: Role will require someone who can take a proactive approach with strong account management experiences and the ability to build relationships and multitask.
Role will require some travel across the region and occasionally beyond if required.
Focus will be on clients based in Spain and possibly other regions such as Portugal.
TASKS/ MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES: Account Management: Develop and animate a portfolio of B2B accounts (companies & intermediaries).
Accounts to mainly be in Spain. Build account plans utilizing Accor tools such as Anais effectively and efficiently according to targets given. Arrange & manage business reviews with key partners throughout the year. Sales Actions: Organize & attend a variety of activities to support growth of business across trade shows, events, exhibitions, and sales missions across ENA. Ensure ROI is managed and maintained across all actions. Build relationships with Accor ENA hotels with a focus on Spain and develop strong knowledge of ENA hotel portfolio to become an ambassador for the brands, hotels & destinations. Arrange presentations to hotels & clients on key topics, new openings, and products. Qualifications QUALIFICATION / COMPETENCIES: Minimum 3-4 years of account management experience in the hospitality sector.
This role will be at a key account level. Past account management work with existing top Spanish M&E clients - essential. Fluency in Spanish - essential. English speaking/writing - essential. French speaking - would be an advantage. REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: 3 years of M&E agency account management as a minimum.
As an alternative, may consider someone from a corporate account management experience providing they have worked within the M&E environment on such accounts. EXPERIENCE NEEDED: Good understanding of the ENA M&E market - with focus on Southern Europe trends/Spain knowledge. Professional hotel experience (operation). Preferable to have already established working relationships with some of the top M&E partners in ENA.
