General DescriptionThe AI Consulting Engineer is responsible for Use Cases delivery including data analysis, feature engineering, machine learning model training, and troubleshooting the data pipeline.
Your main responsibilitiesUnderstand high level business processes and translate them into suitable telco use cases with automation-by-AI strategies.Analyze and characterize heterogeneous datasets from multiple sources and/or verticals.Define, implement, and validate KPIs and features relevant to the AI model.Identify appropriate metrics for the business problem and optimize AI model performance accordingly.Validate AI model predictions and generalization capability.Identify weak points and improvement areas of existing models over time.Support Data Engineering teams to define ETL strategies and configurations.Identify new product features, usability improvements, and requirements, collaborating with product development teams to specify them.Implement required changes in product configuration to deliver the project requirements.Required Technical Skills and QualificationsBS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Solid knowledge of the Radio Access Network (RAN) technologies such as LTE, 5G, and Open RAN.At least two years of experience in one or more programming languages (SQL, Python, R, and/or Scala).Relevant experience with Data Science tools such as Zeppelin, Jupyter, Excel, and SQL.Hands-on knowledge of Linux and its shell.Required Soft SkillsBe a team player and have a strong desire to solve problems, result-oriented.Open to learn new technical and soft skills.Positive attitude and ability to solve problems autonomously.Flexibility to work with customer deadlines.Good communication and documentation skills in English (Spanish or Japanese skills are a plus!).Great at thinking outside the box and have an aptitude for innovation and problem solving.Ability to work as part of a team while maintaining independent thinking.Desirable SkillsSolid knowledge of the Radio Access Network (RAN) technologies such as LTE, 5G, and Open RAN.Relevant experience with standard Machine Learning frameworks: Spark MLlib and/or Scikit-Learn.Knowledge of Open Source Big Data technologies: HDFS, HBase, MongoDb.Familiar with cloud frameworks and virtualization: Docker and Kubernetes.What you will love about Tupl!A competitive salary and benefits.Open and sharing environment where you will be exposed to bleeding edge technologies.Work in a local team in Málaga, located in the Green Ray building, with a high level of flexibility (total remote work during COVID restrictions) with international exposure and support to grow in your career.Modern hardware like MacBook Pro and peripherals.We are looking for someone that is a self-starter, that thrives in agile and fast-paced environments and can manage through ambiguity and change.
