.Job DescriptionOrganon is looking for a Director Supply Chain Operations (SCO) Demand Fulfillment, Distribution, and Logistics for Europe.The position can be based anywhere in Europe, remotely with up to 20% travel. Reporting into the Executive Director Demand Fulfillment, Distribution, and Logistics for EMEA, the Director Europe will oversee the in-market Supply Chain operations of Organon EUROPE, including Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Switzerland; Belgium, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Germany, Ireland, UK; Nordics.The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Supply Chain Management Strategy Design & Translation into execution plansSupply Chain Budget/Cost & Performance for EUROPERepresents SCM/OMS in various Commercial Leadership teams.Demand management, Local & Regional Demand review and regional support of S&OPOrder Management & Fulfillment for complete region and supply outside of regionLogistics operations & Transport (3rd Party Logistics Providers, Custom Brokers, Freight Forwarding)Import & Export Operations and Trade Compliance within regionPerformance & Cost Analytics to drive optimal service/performance ratio.Drive ongoing and relentless continuous improvementThe role also oversees execution of strategic projects within the above activities and is directly overseeing the implementation of SCM Strategy and supporting the Commercial and Financial targets within the Region.This position functions as the direct liaison to the Regional President of the Commercial Teams, Country Managing directors and supervises several clusters SCM Leads. The Supply Chain Operations Director for Europe provides functional leadership and direction to personnel within their scope of responsibility and ensures quality and compliant supply chain operations whilst looking continuously for operational efficiencies and cost-effective measures using Digital Logistics and other industry innovative solutions.As Organon is dis-entangling from MSD in the upcoming period, this position will oversee and manage that service and targets are continuing to be met as we separate systems and re-design process and continue to adjust our organization toward the new companies' strategic goals
