OverviewMicrosoft's Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) organization is the engine that powers our cloud services. Our data center construction team is dedicated to delivering the highest quality data centers for our cloud services. As we continue to revolutionize the way construction projects are planned, managed, and executed, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Manager to join our diverse and inclusive team. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the high standard and reliability of our product.ResponsibilitiesBusiness Processes:Reports to the CO+I Regional DCI Lead with reporting structure to a EOT Team Lead.This position requires a senior level of understanding of Safety, Datacenter Commissioning, Project Management, Telecommunications, and Mission Critical Operations.Create and/or maintain best practices to identify and incorporate quality and cost-effective solutions.Development of ITIM reports to best understand and communicate project status.Development of financial reports to best understand and communicate project status.Travel required.Accountability:Travel to projects to ensure consistent operations and efficiencies across the region, including project setup, onboarding, training, audit, assessing resource effectiveness, and conducting project health checks.Responsible for developing, managing, and reporting on scope, schedule of the ITIM process for CO+I projects.Reporting of the ITIM process to management on a regular basis.Responsible for being able to effectively evaluate project status and develop timely and cost-effective solutions for safe delivery within budget, quality and schedule.Collaboratively driving solutions to impact successful delivery of projects under challenging conditions.Work independently in support of the CO+I Program.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Self-starter with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.Experience managing large scale enterprise projects with both localized and virtual teams.Cross-group collaborator and influencer across teams and organizations with proven success in participating in cross-functional teams to deliver on key projects. Must be able to work within a dynamic team of full-time employees and consultants.High personal standard to deliver a thoughtful, polished and quality work product.Bachelor's degree in computer science, business management, electrical engineering, construction management or similar experience.Experience in IT fit out or construction related project management.Preferred Qualifications:- BICSI RCDD or similar Telecommunications Design/Installation Experience is a plus.- Previous Data Center construction/IT Fit out or management experience a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
