What you'll do: We are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer (FSE) within the EMEA region, mainly working in large data center projects in the field. You will provide a first-class service for the Eaton installed base products to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and loyalty. Responsible for installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and product repairs. You will be offering support to the extended EMEA Service community through high-level technical knowledge and experience in the field. Responsible for overseeing Data centre commissioning across EMEA on behalf of Eaton Field Service. Provide the highest level of technical expertise in all Hyperscale commissioning activities. Support and train Local FSE's in such activities. Manage key account technical escalations providing support including site visits, to engineers and customers alike, drive escalations to conclusion and provide feedback where necessary. Work closely with Project Managers, advising on commissioning considerations and assisting in the selection of suitable engineers, carry out site visits as required. Assist SIS with support of high-profile clients, providing technical advice and attending site visits as required. Maintain direct links with business units (HPO) and act as focal point for all technical exchange regarding the commissioning procedures and testing. Manage subcontractor teams where required. Perform Health & Safety audits of FSE and subcontractors ensuring the high standards required by EATON are maintained. Qualifications: Installer electrical background, suitable education/qualifications. Proven years of UPS experience. Proven years of experience in the field focusing on Data Centers. Skills: Three-phase electrical installation and commissioning experience essential. Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, SNMP, OPC, DDE, TCP/IP an advantage. Programming of PLC control systems (Power Control, Generator Control, SCADA, or process control) an advantage. Good understanding of switch panels and power distribution. Communication skills / Customer Focus / Flexibility / Ability to work together with different cultures / Able to follow instructions.
