The person will be responsible for compiling information in relation to compliance work inside EMEA (European chemical dossiers, national nanomaterials notifications, SCIP notifications) – the role includes compiling IUCLID datasets for EU REACH registrations and data set for UK and Turkey REACH for all businesses. The person will be responsible for gathering Substance ID information, being involved in the interpretation of the analytical spectra and taking the decision on the sufficiency of the analytical data as per the information requirements of REACH. The role also includes monitoring changes to existing and emerging chemical legislations.Your key responsibilities:- Preparation of complete IUCLID lead and co-dossiers review of co-registration dossiers for completeness and compliance within the CRA peer review process prior to submission to competent authorities ECHA.- Regulatory intelligence – tracking chemical legislations impacting business right-to-operate in EMEA countries.Qualifications:University advanced degree in Chemistry/biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Pharmacy or other comparable technical field or comparable experience.Knowledgeable in analytical techniques necessary to determine the structure of substances; quantitative and qualitative interpretation of spectral data.Knowledge of existing or emerging chemical regulations (EU REACH or REACH-like), registration and notification processes.Experience of IUCLID is an advantage.Project skills (Six Sigma) is an advantage.Knowledge of Classification and Labeling according to GHS/CLP is an advantage.Basic Knowledge in Toxicology and Ecotoxicology is an advantage.Solid knowledge on risk assessment, exposure scenarios, use descriptor system also a plus.Skilled in SharePoint and MS applications and comfortable with learning new IT systems. SAP EH&S a plus.Good skills in communication, networking and interpersonal relationships across cultures.Fluent in English.Demonstrate an interest in regulatory matters.Planning & Organizing.Long-term thinking, distills issues and actively works to find constructive solutions.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
