We offer an outstanding opportunity for a Sr Manager, Sales to join our dynamic team in EMEA. As part of our Life Sciences Group, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and achieving sales results in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities
Formulate and effectively implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet and surpass revenue targets.
Coordinate P&L responsibilities (+60 M revenue) consistently completing both top and bottom-line financial metrics, ensuring flawless execution.
Develop and nurture positive relationships with key customers and channel partners to drive customer value and happiness.
Build a high-performance team culture across the Agribusiness Managers by hiring, developing, and engaging highly talented and motivated employees.
Identify and act upon market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Apply continuous improvement methodologies to improve sales processes and operational efficiency.
Accurately forecast quarterly revenues and manage sales funnel health.
Ensure the team operates within the defined expense budget.
Skills/Experience Required
Minimum 8 years of people leadership and direct sales experience in advanced technologies.
Leading Leaders Experience preferred.
Proven success in delivering business strategies and reviews.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability and willingness to travel extensively (50-60% travel time).
Business Knowledge
Experience working within a global matrix organization.
Strong presentation and relationship management skills.
Proven ability to drive process compliance and improvements.
Adaptable to diverse cultures and effectively handles diversity.
Domain Knowledge of Agribusiness
Deep understanding of production Animal Diagnostics workflows and Animal Genotyping products.
Familiarity with Molecular Biology Applications, including Sample Prep, qPCR, NGS, and Microarray.
Ability to build value propositions representing Thermo Fisher Scientific's product portfolio.
This role is fully remote and is available in different countries across Europe and the Middle East.
