It is one of the fastest-growing departments aimed at facilitating and ensuring the strong future growth of Daikin. The department is located in Gent, Technology Park, and plays a crucial role in developing embedded software & hardware as well as cloud and app development. This year we want to expend our 2nd office in Madrid. Role Overview:As the Embedded Software Testing Manager at Daikin Europe N.V., you will lead and oversee the embedded software testing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable software solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You will provide strategic direction, leadership, and mentorship to the team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.The team will consist of 3 junior software test engineers, 2 senior software test engineers and 1 expert software test engineer. Responsibilities:Provide strategic direction and leadership to the embedded software testing team, aligning testing efforts with business objectives and priorities.Manage and oversee all aspects of the embedded software testing process, including test planning, execution, and analysis.Lead the development and implementation of embedded software testing strategies, methodologies, and best practices.Establish and maintain testing standards, processes, and tools to ensure consistency and efficiency in testing activities.Manage and prioritize testing activities and resources, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements, and ensure effective communication and coordination.Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering their growth and development.Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and techniques, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and enhancement.Requirements:Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in embedded software testing, with demonstrated leadership experience.Proven track record of managing and leading embedded software testing teams to deliver high-quality results.Expertise in developing and implementing embedded software testing strategies, methodologies, and best practices.Strong technical background in embedded systems architectures, communication protocols, and software development.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and achieving business objectives.Passion for learning and professional growth, with a commitment to staying current with industry trends and advancements.Join us at Daikin Europe N.V. and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of embedded software testing and delivering innovative solutions that make a difference. #J-18808-Ljbffr
