Position: Embedded Software Engineer for Automotive InfotainmentRemote working policy: 100% remote, full-time contractorFee: 50€ - 70€ per hourThis is a remote position and we welcome applications from within the EU.Project description:Our customer is growing a new team to spearhead a start-up project for a major German automotive brand. This team will be responsible for developing a Human-Machine Interface for a new Infotainment System. You will work on building a complex software system that serves as a platform for innovative internet-based services and applications for the vehicle of the future.You will be responsible for embedded software development focusing on infotainment solutions using Linux/Android-based software components, including developing software functions starting with high-level design for embedded automotive ECUs.What you will be doing:You will work on building a complex software system that serves as a platform for innovative internet-based services and applications for the vehicle of the future.Analyze and expand existing software modules according to customer requirements.Analyze and determine security requirements for systems/networks.Adhere to software requirements as part of an agile development approach.You will be working on varied, cross-functional tasks.You will be working in an international project team.Qualifications You Need for this Job:Several years of professional experience as an embedded software developer.Experience in developing complex, embedded software, middleware, and OS.Knowledge of Agile SW Development.Knowledge of process models (e.G. Automotive SPICE, CMMI).Experience with C & C++ programming.Linux/Android HMI experience (desirable).A range of experience in audio/video, networks, cameras, sensors, graphics and/or low-level programming (desirable).Good knowledge of software integration and software testing.German language (desirable).We Offer:100% fully remote, work-from-home position.Flexible work hours.Long-term contractor contract - possible 2-3 years project.Full-time support from delivery and administration managers.Budget fee of 50-70€ per hour.Sounds interesting?
