The company focuses on low-level systems, advancing firmware, device drivers, and virtualization technologies to enable next-generation hardware features and exceptional user experiences.Position Overview:Develop low- and mid-level software, including BIOS, firmware, and device drivers, to enable innovative hardware features and optimize system performance.Junior OS Engineer Responsibilities:Develop and maintain low-level software (BIOS, firmware) for novel hardware architectures.Create Linux device drivers to expose hardware features, telemetry, and acceleration.Extend emulation, simulation, and virtualization tools.Collaborate with hardware teams to drive hardware/software co-design.Junior OS Engineer Required Qualifications:Strong knowledge of computer architecture, Linux kernel internals, and pre-boot processes.Proficiency in low-level languages (C, Rust) with assembly and bare-metal development experience.Familiarity with Git, CI pipelines, and task management tools.If this Junior OS Engineer position sounds of interest please reach out to Harry Hansford @ IC Resources for more information.
