You'll manage email review and creation, schedule/delivery SLAs and standards, list segmentation, and performance analysis.
As the channel manager, you're expected to use insights to proactively optimize email engagement and contribute best practices to the broader team.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, possesses strong project management skills, enjoys collaborating with others to optimize outcomes, and has had B2B experience working in email marketing platforms.Key Responsibilities:Support the development of email marketing plans and strategies, aligned to broader marketing and business objectives.Develop and execute end-to-end email marketing journeys, from defining campaign goals and determining optimal frequency/timing to delivering and analysing.
Optimize content to resonate with our audience and align with brand voice, including subject lines and persuasive calls to action.
Our goal is to influence, educate, and engage target audiences and enhance our brand.Proactively project manage and deliver global email marketing campaigns to agreed deadlines, ensuring that they are tailored to the target audience.
Proofread emails for clarity, grammar and spelling.Establish and execute proper SLA and QA processes to ensure accuracy and hygiene of the email database, maintain opt-in practices and comply with data protection regulations.Work with Underwriting, Partner Experience and IT/CRM team to segment and manage email lists to ensure accurate contact information and targeting capabilities.Collaborate with fellow marketing team members for email template design, imagery, content and analytics to align email marketing efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
Design visually appealing email templates using graphics, personalization and advanced features that are responsive across devices and browsers.Implement UTM tracking, A/B and multivariable testing, etc.
to identify opportunities to optimize email performance and engagement rates.
Monitor and study email campaign key performance indicators (KPIs), such as email deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, conversions and ROI (where applicable) to assess campaign effectiveness.
Ensure the socialisation of campaign measurement and performance with relevant stakeholders to confirm optimization opportunities.Stay updated with the industry trends and the best practices in email marketing to drive innovation and continuous improvement.Personal Specification:Education and QualificationsMarketing degree, qualification or equivalent proven work experience as email marketing manager or digital marketing specialist.Experience with HTML and content management systems.
Basic knowledge of HTML / CSS and hands-on experience with merge fields, automations, and dynamic content blocks.Experience and/or certificate in integrated CRM and marketing programs/platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics365, etc.
)Skills and AbilitiesExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written in native English.Proficiency in copywriting principles, CTA optimizations and subject line creation.Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.Proactive self-starter who likes to share ideas, collaborate and find creative solutions to succeed.Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs.Knowledge and ExperienceProficiency in building nurture campaigns using marketing automation technology (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Dynamics, Braze and other email marketing tools).Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, deliverability, GDPR and CAN-SPAM compliance.Proficiency in analysis and reporting using tools such as Google Analytics with the ability to run tests and interpret data to derive actionable insights.Previous experience in a related B2B email marketing roles.Experience in Asana or comparable project management tools (e.g., Figma, Monday, BaseCamp, InMotionNow, etc.
).A good understanding or experience of financial services, specifically commercial insurance.
