Electronics Technician

You will serve as an Electronics Technician (MK-41 VLS) in the Engineering Department of FWD DEPLOYED REG MAINT CTR DET ROTA ROTA, SPAIN. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.Specialized experience may include:Overseeing and providing repairs and inspections of MK-41 Vertical Launching Systems (VLS) onboard U.S. Naval Ships.Reviewing, inspecting, and evaluating Naval Ship emergent Casualty Repair (CASREPs) to provide combat readiness to the fleet and mission.Processing Casualty Reports and performing assessments and tests to maintain missile systems, modern shipboard systems, and MK-41 VLS subsystems.Troubleshooting and repairing ordnance handling equipment, weapons magazine reporting circuitry, and sensors for forces afloat.NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for the position.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-SeriesElectronics Technical Series 0856Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
