Our objective is to avoid possible quality non-conformities during manufacturing processes and maintain optimal production.We specialize in the automotive, aerospace and heavy transportation industries.At Trigo Group your main role will be Quality Consultant to work in one of our partners located in Sant Boi de Llobregat (Barcelona).Your tasks will be:Build relationships with manufacturers and strategic partners, in order to convince and motivate the best of them to prioritize to the companyEnsures NDA, and Master Purchase Agreement in place before business is initiatedOwner of RFI's, RFP's and RFQ's - ensuring all commercial terms are agreed and documentedIdentify potential suppliers, analyze supplier capabilities, select suppliers, and determine prices, terms, and conditions of agreementsFind suppliers that can integrate new technologies into our industry in order to increase our performance, reduce cost or improve sustainabilityDrive continual cost reduction activitiesReduced delivery time for critical parts, components, and subassembliesMinimize stock value, but never be out of stockIdentify supplier consolidation opportunities that will generate savings. Manage supplier relationships and performance, including dispute resolutionMonitor current category market conditions, technology roadmaps and identify supply/demand challenges & opportunitiesCreate competitive environments with suppliers to support a negotiation strategyLead the vendor selection process with engineering teamsWork closely and collaboratively with other departments as Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Production Engineering, and ProductionWork with the organization to work under the Lean Manufacturing PhilosophyCollaboration in the management of the supply chain at all times (presenting the Just in time philosophy)Always be on top of emails and calls, never letting our partners wait on us more than a few hoursBe a leader figure within the company, we believe in leading by exampleChallenge areas within the company you believe could be improved, including all areas of the companySuggest and execute new strategies to improve productsTravel when needed, attend and lead important racing eventsConsider ROI with all projects.
