Mission of the role: Establish and facilitate best practices achieving economies of scale in the procurement of materials necessary for effective and efficient operations. The Procurement Manager will successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position while demonstrating Vision, Mission, and Core Values.
Responsibilities: Establish and maintain strong and positive relationships with suppliers and vendors.Negotiate pricing, supplier contracts, and service level agreements with manufacturers, vendors, suppliers, and agents to ensure the highest quality products for the lowest possible cost or best competitive price.Process purchase orders, requisitions, and other purchasing documents for the purchase of materials, tools, and equipment.Schedule and coordinate delivery of materials and equipment.Review Bill of Material with Management to determine major buy-outs and subcontracts versus field order/release items.Develop Project Procurement Plan in conjunction with Management.Lead implementation of supplier optimization and supplier risk management initiatives, along with Continuous Improvement and Lean Activities by conducting supplier and subcontractor analysis, evaluate potential new suppliers, and manage the overall supplier qualification process, as required.Coordinate and administer material returns, credits, and refusals process while ensuring cost-efficient handling.Coordinate and administer special procurement projects, as required.Perform additional duties as directed.Operate and implement purchasing software.Develop policies and procedures while maintaining terms and conditions.Minimum Requirements: Expert in electronic products - technical background highly valuable.Expert in Asian markets - to be able to identify alternative products and suppliers with capacity.Agile to move in spot market for electronics.High experience in previous allocation situations in the electronic market.7-10 years purchasing/procurement experience in the electrical industry.Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Problem-solving skills.Ability to work on own initiative and manage teams.Able to communicate in English and Spanish.Knowledge of quality/environmental systems (IATF 16949 & 14001).Lean Six Sigma, ISO 9000 Lean.Supply Management Certifications.Benefits: Hybrid work schedule and half Fridays.First-class private health, dental, and life insurance after your first month at Wallbox.Flexible compensation tickets valid for transportation, childcare, and restaurant/food delivery apps.Stock purchase plan.Unlimited access to LinkedIn for all your learning and development needs.Car discounts & special advantages if you choose an EV!Reception to manage services from any store (Mayordomo).Free coffee and tea to fuel your mornings.Variety of breakfast and lunch dishes every day at a discounted price at our canteen.Learn and grow in a company of over 45 nationalities and counting!No suits!
