.Electronic Hardware Lead Engineer - Compressors We move the world – together. We've been doing it for over 100 years. Our passion for technology has made us who we are today: a leading international development partner and systems supplier to the automotive industry. Here you will not only envision mobility solutions that lie ahead; with our combined strengths we will make them come to life. Join our MAHLE colleagues around the world and we will become #StrongerTogether. As an Electronic Hardware Lead Engineer in MAHLE you will be responsible for analyzing the hardware requirements (functional and non-functional) and the system functional architecture, allocating the different HW blocks to the multiple PCBAs in the product. In addition, you will ensure that the functionality split between different PCBAs is consistent with the architecture and technically correct, perform the required trade-offs, and ensure that the interface definition between the PCBAs is correct. You will also lead and coordinate the work of several Electronic Engineers (working on different PCBA), to ensure that the full product electronic design is consistent. How can you become part of our success?Review customer requirements, with special emphasis on those related to HW.High-level HW Specification write down based on system requirements.HW Architecture design according to the defined HW Requirements. Split the HW functionality in several boards as required.Coordinate the team of Electronic Hardware Engineers performing the design of the different boards.Manage the electronic product tree, identifying which release of each individual board corresponds to a given design release and tracking the compatibility between different versions.Prepare connectors summary and board-to-board interface specification.Participate in the design reviews of the different boards ensuring consistency between them.Coordinate the overall design justification allocating the design verification steps to the different boards.Ensure design and component reuse across boards on the same equipment when possible.Ensure that the electronic design and validation tasks as defined in the PDP are planned, reviewed and completed. What skills do you need?Degree in Physics / Electronics / Telecommunication Engineering or similar.German will be a plus.Technical background in electronic design (automotive preferred).Technical background in electronic design validation (functional, electrical, EMC).Knowledge of electronic analysis and simulation tools (SPICE, PSIM, Mathcad, MATLAB).Knowledge of standard electronic design analysis and verification (Derating analysis, WCA, Reliability calculation, FMEDA).Proficiency in the use of electronic design tools (Schematic and PCB suites): Altium, OrCAD, Expedition; Experience with Altium Designer is a plus.Knowledge of Automotive SPICE processes.Knowledge of functional safety (ISO26262).Experience in working in a V model development process (ASPICE)
