In MAHLE, you will have the opportunity to work in one of the most powerful multinationals in the automotive sector, with great opportunities for professional development and surrounded by a multicultural environment with colleagues who share your passion for technology and mobility.As an Electronic Hardware Lead Engineer in MAHLE, you will be responsible for:Analyzing the hardware requirements (functional and non-functional) and the system functional architecture.Allocating the different HW blocks to the multiple PCBAs in the product.Ensuring that the functionality split between different PCBAs is consistent with the architecture and technically correct.Performing the required trade-offs and ensuring that the interface definition between the PCBAs is correct.Leading and coordinating the work of several Electronic Engineers (working on different PCBA) to ensure that the full product electronic design is consistent.How can you become part of our success?Review customer requirements, with special emphasis on those related to HW.Write high-level HW Specification based on system requirements.Design HW Architecture according to the defined HW Requirements.Split the HW functionality into several boards as required.Coordinate the team of Electronic Hardware Engineers performing the design of the different boards.Manage the electronic product tree, identifying which release of each individual board corresponds to a given design release and tracking the compatibility between different versions.Prepare connectors summary and board-to-board interface specification.Participate in the design reviews of the different boards ensuring consistency between them.Coordinate the overall design justification, allocating the design verification steps to the different boards.Ensure design and component reuse across boards on the same equipment when possible.Ensure that the electronic design and validation tasks as defined in the PDP are planned, reviewed, and completed.What skills do you need?Degree in Physics / Electronics / Telecommunication Engineering or similar.English (B2).
Spanish (C1) desirable.
German will be a plus.Technical background in electronic design (automotive preferred).Technical background in electronic design validation (functional, electrical, EMC).Knowledge of electronic analysis and simulation tools (SPICE, PSIM, Mathcad, MATLAB).Knowledge of standard electronic design analysis and verification (Derating analysis, WCA, Reliability calculation, FMEDA).Proficiency in the use of electronic design tools (Schematic and PCB suites): Altium, OrCAD, Expedition.
Experience with Altium Designer is a plus.Knowledge of Automotive SPICE processes.Knowledge of functional safety (ISO26262).Experience in working in a V model development process (ASPICE).Several years' experience in complex product electronic design for automotive applications.
