Job Description Responsibilities: Inspecting: Performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections of electrical and mechanical products, materials, and assemblies; including raw materials, components, printed circuit boards, cable harnesses, and machined components.
Measuring: Using precision instruments to measure product dimensions.
Testing: Conducting visual and electrical and functional tests to confirm specifications.
Recording: Documenting inspection results and preparing reports.
Collaborating: Working with the engineering and production team when nonconformances are identified.
Ensuring compliance: Ensuring compliance with internal and industry quality standards.
Maintaining a safe work environment: Complying with legal regulations and maintaining a healthy work environment.
Qualifications: 5 years experience in quality inspection or quality assurance.
Experience inspecting PCB SMT and PTH soldering, discrete solder, and terminal crimping.
Experience using precision measuring equipment.
Ability to interpret drawings.
Ability to learn quickly and work productively without direct supervision.
Experience working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
High school diploma or higher education required.
Familiar with industry workmanship standards, such as IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620.
Skills/Requirements: Excellent written and verbal communication skills including data entry in Microsoft applications.
Attention to detail.
Thorough understanding of quality control and quality assurance standards and methodologies.
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Team-player.
Ability to lift 20-lbs regularly.
Must be US citizen.
