In this pivotal role, your responsibility will be to maintain, repair, and install electrical equipment and systems, ensuring maximum reliability and performance.Perform electrical maintenance, inspections, and repairs on all plant equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with regulatory standards.Undertake electrical work in accordance with UK legislation and Aggregate Industries standards using the safe working procedures set out in Aggregate Industries policies, procedures and instructions.Fault finding and process improvements.Energy reduction.Maintain all diagrams, circuit schedules and other information.Maintain all PLC controlled equipment including program modifications to suit production needs.Safety related control systems for machinery.Ensure all PPM schedules are carried out in a timely manner.Mentoring of apprentices.Qualifications and Skills Required Time served electrical engineering apprenticeship (engineering training authority).17th Edition wiring regulations City and Guilds 2382 qualified.Inspection and testing City and guilds 2391.Functional safety / Safety related control systems for machinery.Ability to work well on own or part of a team.Control panel design / build.Cable sizing.Motor control / VFD / DC Drives.PLC experience, Fault finding and programming (Rockwell / Omron / Mitsubishi).Robot experience Fault finding and programming (Fanuc / Kuka / ABB).Weighing equipment (load cells etc).Flexible approach to working hours.IT Skills.Benefits Competitive Salary, plus bonus, 25 days holiday + your local bank holidays (with options to increase) and other benefits - all recognising the contribution you bring.
