Aquila Clean Energy is Aquila Group's company responsible for the development and construction of the Solar PV and Wind portfolio in Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Greece. We are looking for a Electrical Site Manager.
Your Responsibilities:
Ensure that agreed quality standards, specifications, work schedules are fulfilled: shall supervise that the commitments made by the main contractors are fulfilled.
Ensure that all companies(main and secondary) can and do perform their work, coordinating and leading them. He shall analyze the work schedules of the different contractors in order to ensure continuity in their work at all times and avoid interruptions and overlaps.
Cost control: to be able to anticipate possible deviations in the work plan and specifications to avoid cost overruns due to lack of anticipation.
Follow up on the technical part of the signed main contracts (TSA and BOP): he must know the details of the main contracts and follow up on their compliance.
Anticipate, detect and solve problems to maintain schedules and costs: related to point 5.
Propose and analyze optimizations: ability to maintain cost control without losing quality.
Propose and analyze possible changes of quality plans and specifications to the real requirements of the work: participate actively in the constant adaptation of quality plans to the reality of the work.
Troubleshooting: quick problem solving capability is needed to avoid delays and cost overruns.
Leading the progress of the work: must be able to be involved in the planning of the contractors' work.
Represent the company on site.
Your qualifications:
Engineer, degree in Industrial, or electrical specialization.
Fully availability on site 24/7: Will be deployed on site.
3-5 years of experience in similar position, supervising or managing the construction of electrical substation with voltages of 220 kV and 400 kV and overheads lines of the same level of voltage.
Knowledge of the wind turbine technology.
Multidisciplinary team leadership.
Fluent in both English and Spanish.
